Guy Fawkes Night, Bonfire Night, November the 5th , whatever you like to call it, it will have come and gone by the time the next Mews-letter is sent out so we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that it's coming up.
I'm sure we don't need to tell you to keep the cats in and make sure they have plenty of food and water, maybe it's even possible to provide them with a cosy fire to curl up in front of too.
It's also worth making sure there is a choice of hidey-holes around the house that they can feel hidden and secure in, should they be at all worried by the noise of the fireworks.
My cats aren't usually too bothered and keeping them in is just a precaution on my part, but one year there was a display a few doors down and they all found additionally concealed hang outs for the night.
