In another international Cat misadventure, Czech Airlines had to fly a cat home on its own in an empty plane after the animal escaped from the cargo hold.

Staff were unable to find the cat and officials felt it was dangerous to allow passengers on board for the return flight while the feisty feline was still on the loose and the airline eventually cancelled the flight from Frankfurt to Prague.

A Czech Airlines spokesperson confirmed the plane had returned to Prague with just the crew and the cat on board, where the cargo hold had to be dismantled before the cat was finally found.
